Ariarathes V
The cappadocian kingdom was founded by Ariarathes I, who at the time of Alexander's conquest of the Persian Empire, made himself an independant satrap of Cappadocia. He kept this position until 322 BC when he was put to death by Perdikkas and Eumenes. |
