MVNIC STOBE

This obverse die (V67) is now known to occur with 8 reverse dies, all Nike turned right, one with a globe. The legend M AVRIL is either an engraving error or a filled die. The correct legend (and cited by Josifovski) is M AVREL but the illustrations do not confirm this. This is one of the commonest types from Stobi. Josifovski illustrates 65 specimens for Caracalla.
