18mm and 3.23 g.

Reverse : IMP XXII COS XVI CENS P P P, Minerva standing right on capital of rostral column, brandishing spear with right hand and holding shield in left; to lower right, owl standing right, head facing.
RIC II 736.
Rarity factor : R2
One of the classic Minerva types but with a very rare legend combination (TRP XI and IMP XXII), minted during only a few days.
I was looking for this one for a while. A few came around but the last bar of the XXII was, in all cases except this one, poorly clear (something of a scratch rather than a neat one).
This one is much clearer.labienus11/01/14 at 17:31Jay GT4: I love the flow lines, makes the coin come alive!

Titvs denarius as Caesar with the IOVIS CVSTOS reverse (RIC Vesp. 863)Denarius. Rome Mint. Circa 76 AD.
3.49 grs.
Obv : T CAESAR IMP VESPAS I (A) N). Laureate head of Titus looking right.
Rev : IOVIS CVSTOS. Jupiter stg. facing, with patera over altar and sceptre in left hand.
RIC (for Vespasian) 863 (after discussion with David - see file -). Flan crack at 7 pm on the observe has been quite a nuisance for attribution (hesitating with the 874 type).
Rarity : R2
End of the observe legend partially off but attributed as VESPASIAN (which is 863 in this case and a R2 rarity factor vs the 874 - VESPASIANVS - and a C rarity factor).labienus01/16/14 at 04:17quadrans: nice one..
