Price_3583.jpg
Price 3583Φ to the left. M under the throne. Ivy leaf under the M. One of the older Babylon strikes. I have never seen a Price 3583 on the auction block before this one.Chance Vandal
Price_3588.jpg
Price 3588One of the ten older or different Babylon strikes with the Φ symbol. Φ to the left, m under the throne, laurel sprig under the M. Wrongly attributed as a Price 3581 in auction which would have either nothing or the dot circle visible under the M. I can't find any other instance of a Price 3588 being sold(bought) as a 3588. Acsearch has one other attributed as 3581 that is actually 3588 - Gorny&Mosch 160 lot 1316Chance Vandal
3588egg.jpg
Price 3588 after eggThe Price 3588 I bought was incredibly shiny. I put it in a baggie with an egg for an hour and it actually turned a golden hue with some bright colors around the strike. I have done this with 4 dif coins and this is the first to not just darken the grey or silver.2 commentsChance Vandal

Price 3610 var (M in exergue not under monogram or to the left like a 3611)Alexander lifetime. Astragalos to the left. (CNG believes the symbol is an ear instead - similar to the 3612) Monogram under the throne. M next to monogram. The 3610 has the M under the monogram and the 3611 has the M to the left. This is different but the American Numismatic Society has one with the offset M (like this coin) classified as a 3610. Gorny & Mosch 245 lot 1205 March 7 2017Chance Vandal

Price cf 3599-3670 not in PriceChimaera facing right - left of the throne. M under the Chimaera. Monogram under the throne. Why do I say Babylon no Price number. It was sold as cf Price 677-678 because those are the two coins with Chimaera facing right, both struck in Corinth. Price 677 has the NO under throne the 678 has the HP monogram. This coin instead has the Babylon distinct monogram (except the Price 2105-Miletus mint having the same/similar monogram). Neither Corinth coin has any example with the "Babylon" under throne monogram or the tell tale "Babylon" M to the left. This coin fits in perfectly with the Babylon tetradrachms numbered Price 3599 to Price 3670. (Except Zeus has crossed legs to add to the hyrbridity)Chance Vandal
kuenker_p181.jpg

Price_p186.jpg
Price p186Philip issue. M to the left. Monogram under the throne. Basileus under the monogram. I think they tried to make the Babylon monogram a unique variant for Philip on this coin.Chance Vandal
