Attributed to Béla IV (1235-1270) by Toth-Kiss and Lengyel, tentatively attributed to him by Frynas, and attributed to either Béla III (1172-1196) or Béla IV by Huszár, Unger and Adamovszky and Gyöngyössy.
AR bracteate (average .705 fineness, .27 g, 13 mm.), denár per Unger and Frynas but denomination unstated by Huszár, Toth-Kiss, Lengyel and Adamovszky; .18 g., 12.68 mm. max.
Obv: Elephant facing left.
Based on their presence in archaeological sites dated to the Mongol invasion of 1241/42, this type can be dated to the earliest years of the reign of Béla IV (per Toth-Kiss).

AR bracteate (average .705 fineness, .29 g, 13.8 mm.), denár per Unger and Frynas but denomination unstated by Huszár, Toth-Kiss, Lengyel, Adamovszky and Gyöngyössy; .27 g., 13.71 mm. max.
Obv: Enthroned king facing, holding scepter and imperial orb, •B•–•R• to sides.
Based on their presence in archaeological sites dated to the Mongol invasion of 1241/42, this type can be dated to the earliest years of the reign of Béla IV (per Toth-Kiss).
