WWI, Australia Victory Medal
Obv: VICTORY above, a sailor (left) and a soldier (right) standing, radiate crown above, a large wreathe in center with the inscription: THE TRIUMPH OF LIBERTY AND JUSTICE within, THE PEACE OF 1919 on a ribbon below.

Rev: The Goddess of Peace or Victory standing on a base inscribed: PEACE 1919, two doves fly on either side of her, at her feet are two captives whose chains and shackles have been broken; AUSTRALIA in exergue.

Patriotic medal (missing ribbon),

Silver plated brass.

8.5 grams, 27.27 mm
