Roman Republic- Sergius Silius
Roman Republic- Sergius Silius
M. Sergius Silus

Helmeted head of RomA right
EX SC before,ROMA and XVI in monogram behind

Helmeted horseman galloping left, holding sword and severed Gallic head in left hand
M SERGI below, SILVS in ex, Q below horses's forelegs

Rome 116-115 BC

Sear 163, RRC 286/1

A second of the type for a challenge. This has more wear but the strike retains the leg of the rider on the reverse and is centered to show more of the EX SC legend. Vote your preference.

Nice coin, though I personally prefer Jay GT4's coin, it has less wear. Cool
