Hieron II * Poseidon and Trident, Syracuse, Bronze drachm
Obv: Poseidon, bearded and left-facing, diademed, or hair bound with kelp-garland(?), locks hanging lose over ears and neck.
Rev: Ornate Trident centered between two dolphins in upper left and right fields, both vertical and oriented towards the bottom; ornate patterned swirls suggesting waves between central and outermost prongs of the trident, left and right.
Below, ΙΕΡ to the left of the trident staff, and Ω[NΟΣ] to the right.
