Julia Domna Pietas Pvblica (Laodicea) RIC 643
Obv: IVLIA AVGVSTA
draped bust rigt
Rev: PIETAS PVBLICA
Pietas standing front, head left, before altar raising both hands.

Laodicea ad mare mint, struck 198-202 AD, 2.4 grams

RIC 643, BMC 612, RSC 156

I love these denarii of the Laodicea mint. Once again, the tell-tale loop of fabric which acts as a mintmark for this mint is visible.
