On 29 July last year Michel Amandry kindly contacted me, after my inquiry with the British Museum's Coins<br> and Medals Department, about this coin. Michel mentioned that only two examples had been known,<br> one in the Ashmolean Museum collection, Oxford (= NC 1953, 21/2 and pl. I, n°2)<br> and the other found during excavations at Abdera (Abdera excavations E 91/N 56).<br>With many thanks to Michel, this coin will be cited in the upcoming RPC Volume III (British Museum Press, 1 October 2015)</center>
