BYZANTINE, Nicephorus II 963-969 Constantinople Obv: Emperor Bust Facing Rev: Inscription Overstruck on a Follis of Constantine VII (Sear 1761) Sear 1783 (Part of the obverse undertype appears not to have been overstruck at all. I'm not sure what caused the coin to look like this. Broken overtype die? Opinions are welcome!)

(Part of the obverse undertype appears not to have been overstruck at all. I'm not sure what caused the coin to look like this. Broken overtype die? Opinions are welcome!)
