SYRIA: DECAPOLIS. Gadara. Vespasian. Æ 22. A.D. 71-72 (year 135 of the Pompeian era). Obv: OYECΠ(ACIA-N-OCKAICAP). Laureate head right; countermark on neck.(ΓA)ΔAPA, (LE)ΛP in field to left. Rev: Tyche standing left, holding wreath and cornucopiae. Ref: BMC -; Sear GIC 738; Spijkerman 26a. Axis: 330°. Weight:9.37 g. CM: Head of Tyche (?) right, in roughly circular punch, 6.5 mm. Howgego 206 (7 pcs). Note: This specimen would seem to depict a female bust, although not a turreted one. Collection Automan.
