CILICIA. Irenopolis. Domitian. Æ 29 (2 Assaria). A.D. 92/93 (year 42). Obv: (AVTOK)PATΩPKAIΣAP-ΔOMITIAN(OΣ). Laureate head right; 2 countermarks, on lower part of bust (1) and before bust (2). Rev: (IPHNOΠOΛE-)ITΩN-ETO-BM. Veiled and turreted figure of Tyche seated right on rock, extending right hand holding ears of corn; river-god swimming right at her feet. Ref: BMC 2 var. (no star in field on rev., different rev. leg.); Sear 862 var.; RPC 1762 (8 pcs) var. (no star). Axis: 360°. Weigh: 11.04 g. Note: Fourteen pieces of this size depicting Domitian noted by Ziegler (1993). CM(1): Bust of Hygieia right, snake before, in rectangular punch, 4 x 5 mm. Howgego 195 (12 pcs).
