France, Nemausus - Bollard
Nmes was founded by Augustus, with veterans from his Egyptian campaigns. The coin-type with the crocodile chained to a palm is famous, and still used by Nmes as its coat of arms today. Here it appears on one of the (modern) bollards set up around the ancient amphitheatre.
