I was told that this structure served as a type of theater where the Inka King's certain ceremonies with the other elites looking on from the tiered seats above. Actually, I have seen with my own eyes a number of C.A. ballcourts nearly this small. The one at Uxmal comes to mind; a tiny court for such a huge site. Kevin
