Genuine - RECOVERED - SYRIAN TETRADRACHM OF URANIUS ANTONINUS - STOLEN DECEMBER 2005957 viewsIn December I saw an unidentified Syrian tetradrachm for sale on the web and I immediately bought it since it was Uranius Antoninus. After six weeks of excited waiting the envelope arrived and was empty. This is a rare coin, and would have been a very important addition to my collection (I specialize in the 251-253 AD time period. It just broke my heart to have it stolen after feeling so elated.
Thank you,
Richard

IMP·CAES·DOMIT·AVG·GERM·P·M·TR·P·IIII· laureate head right, with aegis

This coin was lost or stolen in the US or transit mail to Romania in 2003. For the normal collector or dealer it is not easy to separate it from the mass of all those Domitian Minerva denarii, however the reverse legend is very rare CENS POTES P P instead of CENS P P P or CENS POT P P. This coin is property of Alexandru Marian and am offering a reward for any information that might help me retrieve it.

Genuine - Lost or Stolen: 545 viewsThis coin has been stolen by Ilya Zlobin, AKA highrating_lowprice on Ebay.

I purchased this coin on 13 April 2005 for $58.00, when Zlobin offered it as Ebay auction 3969799305. I never received the coin, and received no refund.

Zlobin again offered the coin for sale on Ebay in November 2005, and when I confronted him he apologized and promised to send the coin. Again, I never received the coin nor a refund.

Zlobin has AGAIN offered the coin for sale on Ebay, as auction 220052130645. All attempts at communication have been ignored.

Genuine - Lost or Stolen: CRISPUS #1314 viewsI bought two coins from Brok2troyes, this one (260106882013) on 31 October 2006. I was in the middle of a move from one overseas location to another, and mail forwarding can take a few months. Plus, he was historically late in shipping coins. I sent a few messages asking about them, but he never answered.
Now they are back up for sale
I immediately bid high on the coins, since the auction was ending soon, and messaged him about the coins. His response was to ban me from bidding on any of his auctions, and no reply to the message. I can only think he has no intention of sending me the coins I purchased, nor of refunding the $215 or so I paid for the both of them.
