Constans500 viewsCoin 3 of the lot of 4 which were sold to a coin dealer by a Serb in Vienna in June 2009. The coins are very well made, struck not cast (transfer die) and the four examples here are all on flans of exactly the same size and weight.

Giveaway: 1) The large dot instead of the O at the end of the reverse legend. 2) Clean copper shining through high points on both sides. 3) lack of detail on emperor's upper body and phoenix. 4) Bust has few hair strands.

Obv: MELITAIWN, Head of Isis left, wearing Egyptian wig and crown of Isis, symbol of Tanit before head.
Rev: Mummy of Osiris standing facing, looking left, holding flail and sceptre, between the supposed figures of Isis and Nephtys, each with headdress and each holding a palm branch. No wings!
Modern forgery from Eastern Europe muling the obverse of Calciati 7-9 with the reverse of Calciati 2-3 but the figures here are without the wings they should have - the wings have been changed into legs bent at the knee.
Offered on ebay by a person in England but the "coin" would be sent from Bulgaria.helvetica
