Constans502 viewsCoin 1 of the lot of 4 which were sold to a coin dealer by a Serb in Vienna in June 2009. The coins are very well made, struck not cast (transfer die) and the four examples here are all on flans of exactly the same size and weight.

lasta: Such coins of Constans are still offered in Vienna. At moment they are offered uncleaned and mixed in a lot of 6,000 pieces with the well known fakes of Carus and Probus for 3€/piece. All the coins have a dirty lime green patina. They were obviously devaluated so in order to sell them for a lower price than originally expected. This is a success of this excellent forum. helvetica
