Fake from modern dies (struck or pressed). Things to note about the dies (to help identification) : the gap between the B and A in the obverse legend, in exergue is CONS and not CONSS, slightly heavier than usual exergue line. According to Barry Murphy, it is part of a series of late AE fakes of the same manufacture including Flavius Victor, Eudoxia, Vetranio, Magnentius, and Aelia Flaccilla.

Helena cast copy based on two-solidus piece206 viewsCast in white metal, 24mm, 4.5 grammes. Curtis Clay identified the original as a two-solidus piece unique in Paris ex d'Amécourt and Montagu collections, and added "The ill. in the d'Amécourt cat. is from the same dies and measures 25 mm". This is slightly smaller and is an obvious cast.moonmoth
