NERO. 54-68 AD. AE Sestertius. Laureate head left/Nero on horseback right, holding spear; behind him rides a soldier.282 viewsSold on eBay by ber1yn.
NERO. 54-68 AD. AE Sestertius (35mm. 24.3 gm). Laureate head left / Nero on horseback right, holding spear; behind him rides a soldier.
The funny thing about this coin is that the reverse side of this coin is actually of another coin. Reverse of this coin is incorrect, it should be DECVRSIO, Nero on horseback prancing, holding crouched spear, soldier running before him, looking back, holding vexillum, a second solder running beside the emperor in the background NOT Nero on horseback prancing, holding crouched spear, accompanied by second horseman in background, holding vexillum over shoulder.

Octavian and Divus Julius Caesar70 viewsOctavian and Divus Julius. 30.38 mm, 18.83 gr. Uncertain mint in Gaul or Italy. Obv: DIVI F CAESAR, bare head of Octavian right. Rev: DIVOS VLIVS, wreathed head of the deified Julius Caesar right.
RPC 620; Babelon Julia 98; Cohen 3; Sydenham 1336; Sear Imperators 308; Crawford 535/1.
The legend on the Julius Caesar side is missing an I (It should be DIVOS IVLIVS), his neck is too thick, the face is too young and just not right for Julius Caesar. The hair of both busts is too formally cut/engraved.
The tip of JC's bust should not extend over the dotted circle.
Compare the "look" with these two:
