Hermaios, 40-1 BC (Baktria and Indo-Greek)163 viewsAR tetradrachm
"I am also fairly sure it is cast, rather than struck as it should be.
The weight is a bit low (mine weighs 7.68 gm), and the diameter is a bit small (mine is 26.5 mm), both of which also suggest it is false." - Manzikert

Antialkidas, 145-135 BC, #A (Baktria and Indo-Greek)213 viewsAR tetradrachm
Obv:- BAΣIΛEΩΣ NIKHΦOPOY ANTIAΛKIΔOY, bust of king right wearing kausia (the flat top as on these coins).
Rev:- Karosthi legend around, Zeus seated left in throne.
"The style of the letters is wrong for this coin. The O's are to large and too round. Also they made a mistake and changed the Δ into a Λ. As for the reverse, the Athena advancing type does not exist as far as I can tell. I checked three references and none list this reverse type for Antialcidas. As for the Zeus enthroned type, the style is very poor and crude. The Kharosthi legend is very poorly done on both coins." - Howard Cole

Rhodos, Rhodes, silver drachm125 viewsAR drachm
Obv:- Radiate head of Helios
Rev:- rose
The bust of Helios is very poorly done. The face is too rounded and its features are poorly defined. Second the reverse lacks detail. There should be an inscription above the rose with the magistrate's name, but it is all blurred together and individual letters can not be made out. Finally the coin has the appearance that it was cast.
