| This common Antioch mint coin would have no chance of making my favorites list were it not for one little thing. The mintmark reads AN for Antioch followed by the workshop (officina) letter Z (7) which was recut over H (8). I like technically odd coins and a corrected mintmark is rare in the Roman series so this coin sneaked onto my list of favorites. |
