Nero, 13 October 54 - 9 June 68 A.D., Perinthus, Thrace
The obverse centering mark, style, flan, lack of concavity, 12:00 die axis and Balkan patina identify this as a product of the Balkan mint. The Britannicus sestertii, which also have the head both left and right, are from the same Latin legend mint. ex Gorny 10/02 #2068 where it was described as Rome Mint.
cf. CNG 12/05 #298 for a right-facing sestertius of this mint and this reverse described as “probably unique.”
