He established his residence in Augusta Treverorum (modern Trier), the capital of Germania.

Billon centenionalis, Hunter V 57 (also 3rd officina), RIC VII Siscia 130 (R1), SRCV IV 16841, Cohen VII 166, Choice VF, well centered and struck, dark patina, 3rd officina, Siscia (Sisak, Croatia) mint, weight 2.452g, maximum diameter 19.4mm, die axis 15o, 320 A.D.; obverse IVL CRISPVS NOB CAES, laureate and cuirassed bust left, spear pointed left in right hand, shield on left arm; reverse VIRTVS EXERCIT (courage of the army), two captives seated, flanking at base of a vexillum inscribed VOT X, S - F / HL (HL ligate) at sides, captive on left seated left with hands bound behind, captive on right seated right with left hand to head and looking back, ΓSIS followed by star within crescent with horns upward in exergue; SOLD
