Komana, Pontos, c. 85 - 65 B.C.
|Pontos|, |Komana,| |Pontos,| |c.| |85| |-| |65| |B.C.|, Next to the Yesilirmak river (ancient Iris), 9 km from the town of Tokat (ancient Dazimon), A mound rising on a natural hill is believe to be the site of Komana Pontike. It is largely unexcavated and it is still uncertain if it was a city or a sanctuary.
