Hadrian, 11 August 117 - 10 July 138 A.D., Nakrasa, Lydia
|Nacrasa|, |Hadrian,| |11| |August| |117| |-| |10| |July| |138| |A.D.,| |Nakrasa,| |Lydia|, The site of Nakrasa has been identified on a hill overseeing the Bakirchay Valley about two miles southeast of Kirkagach, Turkey. Nakrasa was a Seleukid stronghold garrisoned by a Macedonian guard. It was an important fortress for the Kingdom of Pergamon securing an important road. It appears the city first struck coinage under Domitian and its last coins were struck under Marcus Aurelius. The coins chiefly refer to the cults of Artemis Ephesia, Kybele, and Asklepios.
