They are shown on Roman provincial coins as a statuary group, sometimes nude or partially nude, and sometimes holding apples. In Pautalia, they were tutelary goddesses of the local mineral springs. On this coin, the outer Graces hold a long thin object, probably a snake, indicating the healing properties of the springs.
