The usual type, which is not rare, has the horse forepart left; see Topalov 63; Peter p.63, fig 2; SNG Stancomb 287; SNG Cop 1067; SNG Tübingen 951.

Silver diobol, Youroukova 23 (= Sophia 4545), otherwise apparently unpublished and 2nd known with horse forepart right, VF, weight 1.163g, maximum diameter 10.3mm, die axis 45o, c. 464 - 435 B.C.; obverse ΣΠA, forepart of galloping horse left., large dot border; reverse eagle facing, wings spread, head right, snake in beak, within shallow incuse square; extremely rare variant; SOLD
