V 29, 33, XXXIII 37) informs us that the people of the "Cilbiani inferiores et superiores" belonged to Ephesos, and in their mountains, "in Cilbianis jugis" could be found the source of the river Kaystros, the surroundings of which, "Cilbiani agri supra Ephesum" produced the best vermilion.
