Thracian Tribes, "Bird Pin," c. 3rd - 1st Century B.C.
Often found only with the top intact these objects are normally described as pins. Most clearly are pins. This example is an implement of some sort, either votive or domestic, probably a tool for weaving. Rare and deserving of further study.
