Kushan Kingdom, Terracotta Counterfeiter's Forgery Coin Mold, c. 80 - 100 A.D.

This mold was made by pressing a genuine coin into the clay and was used to cast illegal counterfeit copies. The V shaped notch provided a channel for the filling the molds.
