Seleukid Kingdom, Demetrius II Nikator, 146 - 136 and 129 - 125 B.C.
Demetrios II Nikator attacked the Parthians in 138 B.C. but was defeated and captured. He was held in captivity until 129 B.C., when he was released and began his second reign. He was murdered in 125 B.C. His second reign portraits show him wearing a Parthian styled beard.

Silver tetradrachm, Houghton-Lorber II 2166(1), Choice gVF, Antioch (Antakya, Turkey) mint, weight 16.707g, maximum diameter 28.4mm, die axis 0o, 2nd reign, 129 - 128 B.C.; obverse diademed bust of bearded Demetrios II right; reverse BAΣIΛEΩΣ ∆HMHTPIOY ΘEOY NIKATOPOΣ, Zeus seated left holding Nike and scepter, Ξ in inner left field and ∆ under throne; nice style, scarce with Ξ in inner left field; SOLD
