Bronze follis, Anastasi 388; SBCV 1496; DOC II part 1, 9 (missing from the collection, referencing Ricotti 181), F, Syracuse mint, weight 2.529g, maximum diameter 22.7mm, die axis 180o, obverse bust facing, short beard, wearing crown and loros, spear in right over shoulder, globus cruciger in left; reverse large M (40 nummi) between two palm fronds, monogram above, Θ below, SCI in exergue; well centered on a broad flan, nice patina; extremely rare; SOLD
