This lamp type was made at Ephesus, which is also where this lamp was found.

Ephesus lamp; Ontario Museum -, Schloessinger -, Szentléleky -, Bailey BMC -, Dura Lamps -, Warschaw -, Broneer Corinth -, Howland -, Menzel -, Choice, Ephesos (near Selcuk, Turkey) mint, 4 1/2" high; dark terracotta mold made oil lamp with black high sloping shoulders, long nozzle, wide bowl mouth, wing style handle with dots; very rare; SOLD
