|Quintillus|, |Quintillus,| |August| |or| |September| |-| |October| |or| |November| |270| |A.D.|, Virtus, the Roman personification of valor and courage, was represented helmeted with spear and sword, and sometimes standing with her right foot on a helmet. There was a golden statue of her at Rome which was melted by Alaric, king of the Goths. The valor of the emperor is frequently represented on coins with the legend VIRTVS AVG.
