Just added two small "ancient" games to wildwinds. Make sure javascript is switched on
in your browsers.
They are very simple and do not store anything to your computer.

1. Spend 10 denarius trying to guess the name of the emperor (hangman style).
http://www.wildwinds.com/coins/hangman/hangman.html

2. The classic memory game, match the pairs of ancient coin reverses.

Really just a bit of fun when you've been looking for something on wildwinds.
The links are at the bottom of the Ric emperor list page. I'll add them to the
bottom of the Greek City list page when I have a moment.

Dear Dane,

Wow, what a great idea!  I just played both games right now and very surprisingly I guessed all the letters in LUCILLA without a slip-up!  For the memory game, I completed it in 1 min. & 33 sec.

By chance, did you write the games yourself?

Best regards,

Mark, no, I didn't write the scripts myself - I am a bear of very little IT brain. (misquoting A.A. Milne).
I got the basic scripts from a script site and modified the scripts and the images myself. (The original hangman images were originally in the traditionally hangman style).

Good fun, aren't they ? And they made a change from ploughing through Glaux for Lydians
and translating stuff (although there is still the bio of a heavy metal band waiting to be done..)
