Rare (I can't find another one) Q. Metellus Pius Scipio denarius with Vespasian c/m.

Interesting Tetradrachm minted in Antioch for circulation in Cyprus, countermarked under Marcus Aurelius

I've waited a long time to get this scarce last issue of Maximinus Thrax.

It allows me to finish my virtual tray of "The Year of the Six Emperors."

I hope you enjoy it!

I finally added a scarce early issue of Titus as Augustus to my collection, only two specimens in the Reka Devnia Hoard.

https://www.forumancientcoins.com/gallery/displayimage.php?pos=-150184

Even more exciting was getting one of the rarest of Vespasian's dynastic types. Worn but still with a clear portrait of Vespasian and both Titus and Domitian visible on the reverse

Enjoy,

I love the dynastic denarius. I almost bid on one of these a couple of weeks ago. You have just given me another one for my list.
