A famous type on coins of Septimius Severus:


Legio XIIII Gemina Martia Victrix was an elite legion which gained its fame by defeating Queen Boudicca in 61 A.D. At the end of the 2nd century it was stationed in Carnuntum (Austria) and it was the first legion to declare for Severus.
