@okidoki, you are right. The seller did mention it was stuffed silver, however in French. The weight is 2.77g. [REMOVED BY ADMIN]. Would be too good to be true if it was authentic.

Hi YS,

The coin is authentic. It is a genuine ancient coin. It is a silver plated denarius of Augustus. The "black spots" are the copper core showing through.

It is against the rules to screen purchases here in Forum.
