On many examples Mt Argaeus is surmounted by Helios, the sun god. Therefore it would make a lot of sense to interpret the "star" as sun, especially for the examples with "star" on top of Mt. Argaeus, showing the sun as symbol of Helios, instead of Helios himself.

Yes indeed Helios sun god so a Sun i would think on some coins
