Demetrius III Tripod Small Denomination
« on: May 18, 2020, 09:50:52 pm »
Hi, all.  Here is a small coin, I think of Demetrios III.  The closest reference I have found online is SC 2457, but there is no photograph.  The description mentions a monogram in the left field.  Ours has an A in the right field.  Also there are some letters in exergue but I do not know if this is a date or the continuation of the inscription which is, of course, very crowded and difficult to read.  Any additional information, corrections, or links to other examples would be appreciated.  Thanks, V-drome
