Monogram on ancient greek coin
« on: April 19, 2020, 02:17:43 am »
I am a new collector and I have just received a silver Tetrobol, Histiaia, Nymph with vine wreath, earring. Reverse Nymph on galley with wing holding a trophy stand. To the right of her head are the letters :Greek_Delta: :Greek_Delta: with :Greek_Upsilon: over the top. The coin cost a lot and is VF and has provenance. I just wanted a date and a meaning for the monogram. I would be so pleased if someone has some information for me  :)
