matching die fakes?
« on: December 20, 2019, 10:13:47 am »
Hi All
I found 2 coins being offered for sale that have matching die (at least to my eyes) are these fake? even the flan shape and centering looks same. They are being offered by 2 different sellers.

Actually, the reverse centering is somewhat different--follow the surrounding circle.  While the reverse dies are similar, I do not think they are from the same die.

And, oh by the way, a die match is NOT an indication that coins are fake.
