Thanks all!

@Jay GT4: Ive rated yours fully. I know how difficult it is to find really good ones of this type. Ive waited ages before purchasing mine and I had to go the extra mile also.

This Contest has finished and Jay GT4's coin is the winner. Congratulations.

Istinpolin, commiserations. Your coin has been moved to the "Coins from Members' Personal Ancient Coin Galleries" gallery.

Although votes cast after the closing date are not counted as far as the head to head contests are concerned, please feel free to rate any of the coins in the "Best of Type" gallery at any time.

Thank-you very much to everyone who took part in this contest.

Well I think I won that one on the sheer number of votes from the  previous head to head.  Istinpolin coin is top shelf.

Actually, its not as simple as that. This was a very close contest, both coins are superb. Disregarding all the votes prior to this head to head would indeed have put Istinpolin's coin slightly ahead BUT and this is a very big but, more people voted on Istinpolin's coin in this contest than on your coin so, had the number of votes cast been equal there is no reason why your coin would not have won anyway.
Only voting on one coin is effectively voting a zero on the other coin, that is why members are asked to rate BOTH coins when they are voting.

IMHO it would be a good idea to reset all votes when a new contest starts.  Of course, votes would be lost, but there are many new votes due to the competition.

BTW, the one and two star votes both coins  received are not acceptable.

Thanks Alex.

Yes I agree Shanxi, a reset might be a good way going forward.  The low voting of coins has always been an issue.  At the same time we can't take this too seriously.
