Hi!

I have the same denarius - it was discussed  here on the Forum in 2016.

https://www.forumancientcoins.com/board/index.php?topic=106670.0

It is interesting the second specimen appeared.

Dont you think that PP is also present on denarius on reverse (as on aureus), but the letters are not visible enough, only some remains of the letters are left?

Also, what is interesting that this die-linked aureus is 18mm, but usually aurei are a bit larger then denarii for Hadrian - 20mm, if I'm not mistaken.

Dear Z,

Thank you, linking your topic, i knew i had seen it before, but i couldn't find it.
seems same die pair, with your coin.

i'll mail Richard Abdy, when my coin is in hand, then i'll have all dimensions
i do not think there will be PP on the reverse, so cf for an aureus: RIC 187; C. 414; Strack 148

the linked aureus is 18 mm

All the Best,
Eric
