Two-Hole Beads from Caesarea Maritima
« on: March 31, 2019, 01:28:25 pm »
Hi, all.  Here is a pair of interesting beads found at Caesarea, but not together.  They are similar, but the dark blue one (glass?) has angled sides, while the light blue one (stone) has straight sides.  I have been searching on line photos and articles, mostly Google and a Christies catalog, without any luck.  Part of the reason may be that I don't know the terminology of the bead shapes and styles.  Any ideas would be appreciated.   Thx, V-drome
