RIC temp number.

Just got some coins atributed using ric temp numbers. I am familiar with ric numbers, but whats a ric temp number?

To elaborate just a bit on Pekka K's comment: if your coins are from the reigns of Claudius Gothicus, Quintillus, Aurelian, Tacitus, Florianus, or Zenobia and Vabalathus (the latter two minted in Antioch) then they probably fall under the MER – RIC program. Basically put, this program undertakes to revise the Roman Imperial Coinage, volume 5, part 1.
