New Bulgarian Trachy?
« on: October 21, 2018, 09:53:19 am »
Seems to resemble, in fabric and style, to a Bulgarian issue.  Haven't seen this type in the normal sources (e.g., Dochev, Raduchev & Zhekov).  Any comments?  Came in a lot of mostly Thessalonika and Latin Empire coins...

Maybe?

Latin rule in Thessalonika (1204-24), reduced copper trachy (DO type W), 18mm, 1.11g

Not my area but looks similar.
