Help to ID a Byzantine weight?
« on: July 18, 2018, 01:56:23 am »
I recently received this item in a lot of Byzantine bronze coins.  I believe it is a Byzantine weight, but don't know anything else about it.

Weight = 4.3 grams
Diameter = 21 mm

Can someone help with any identification information, online resources, etc?

Much appreciated!

Kevin

Thanks so much for pointing me to your gallery of weights!   What an awesome collection you have - it is a great resource for sure.

I appreciate you providing insight into the one I have!
