Parthian attribution
« on: June 19, 2018, 10:12:47 pm »
Good evening all! I purchased this coin recently from a very reputable seller. It was listed as a sellwood 27.1 but i believe it to be, in fact, an earlier 24.9. What are your thoughts?

Definitely an omphalos, not throne, and clearly four legend lines...yep, I think you are right.  I can't see the torque end clearly here, but I assume it ends in a pellet...
